Jacobs Transport is continuously striving to add to our ‘basket of brilliance’ in terms of service offerings to our existing and future customers. Most recently we have realized that there is a high demand for an optimized container depot in Johannesburg. We have therefore decided to revisit our roots and open the same at our newly acquired facility in Wadeville.
We boast a 122 000 sqm property, of which a large portion of this has been allocated to our container depot, with a state-of-the-art depot management system, new machinery, and a staff compliment with vast experience, we pride ourselves in offering a fast, reliable, and efficient service.
The extensive range of trucks within our fleet also ensure that should you require any transport solutions, we are able to facilitate your request at a very competitive rate as the departure point for the trucks is situated on the same property as the container depot, early departure results in early arrival at your customers as the containers are pre-loaded the evening before, please do not hesitate to contact us for all your transport requirements.
You can rest assured that your containers are always safe, our security measures include CCTV (live and remote monitoring), 24-hour onsite guarding (internal and external compliment) as well as armed response.
Our depot hours are Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 18:00. We are however available 24/7/365 by prior arrangement for those urgent movements.
